Modern + Stylish Playmats Created For Family Interiors

Created by the Totter + Tumble team, the Woven + Wild designer playmats are perfect for modern family spaces and are designed to complement evergreen interior trends, so they will look good in your space for years!

To inspire your family home, whether you are creating a space from scratch, or want to give your current decor a refresh, we are highlighting two contrasting trends that work beautifully with our new designs.

Trend 1: A ‘Nancy Meyers Home At The Coast.’

A ‘Nancy Meyers Home At The Coast’ is inspired by the evolving Coastal Grandmother trend, that has been influencing interior styling over the last few years. This trend centres around classic charm, with delicate, pretty detailing and vintage elements.

Nancy Meyers films are relaxed and timeless. The homes you’ll discover in her movies are simple yet thoughtfully styled.

Our trend has an effortless Nantucket aesthetic, with subtle, nautical elements, scallops, flounced textiles and a refreshing colour palette for the modern, grand millennial. This interior trend has just the right balance of granny and chic, perfect for your home - as well as a Nancy Meyers movie! Unroll a calming colour playmat to complete the family-friendly space.

Trend 2: A ‘Wes Anderson Home In The Hills.’

A ‘Wes Anderson Home In The Hills’ is inspired by the current preference for grounding, tonal colours in interiors to create a serene home sanctuary; think plenty of muddy brown, burnt orange and biophilic green hues to blur the inside with the outside.

Director Wes Anderson is known for his quirky, stylised films, where frames are balanced with symmetry and colour blocking. The film settings, while different in aesthetic, are all an interior designer's dream - and ours as well!

Our trend is home to a natural colour palette, plenty of wood, thoughtfully considered furniture and a deep connection between the inside of the home and the outdoors. Windows are viewed as frames, or large landscaped prints adorn the wall instead.  Colour is layered or drenched and lightning is dynamic. Style a nature-inspired playmat into the space, for a completed interior aesthetic that looks good and serves your family well too.
